How large are your classes?
At PL Learning, YOU decide your class size. We limit our classes to 2-5 students. 5 students is the maximum. Prices are set based on the number of students in the group. So, we have personalized and budget options. 1-1 study can be arranged upon request but space for 1-1 is limited.
What is the program price?
PL Learning has promotional prices for the time being. All programs are priced at the following rates:
Group of 2 learners for $65 per student/1 hour
(Available through promotional period)
Group of 3 learners for $45 per student/1 hour
(Available through promotional period)
Group of 4 learners for $40 per student/1 hour
(Available through promotional period)
Group of 5 learners for $35 per student/1 hour
(Available through promotional period)
How are classes delivered?
We offer live online sessions, pre-recorded classes for busy learners, and an option for asynchronous study (this option includes no live session but access to a class shell for a one time fee)
*If students select the asynchronous option, they receive course access with videos, practice activities, and course guidance documents that they'll have access to for one year from date of purchase.
What qualifications do teachers have?
All PL Learning teachers have a master's degree, years of experience, and several are Ph.D.'s or candidates for Ph.D.'s. Our curriculum design team has spent years teaching, living, traveling, and studying in many parts of the world including parts of China, South Korea, Latin America, Israel, and all over the United States. All of our teachers are native English speakers with advanced degrees.
Yes! We offer a free, 35 minute trial class. There is no fee for the trial class. Come try us out.
Where is the institution based?
Our institution is based in California. Our teachers are based mostly in California but also in other locations around the United States.
Is there a refund policy?
Return and Refund policy:
- Full refund available minus transaction costs (usually 10% of fee) if requested 2 weeks prior to term start.
- 70% refund available if requested less than 2 weeks prior to term start.
- 65% refund available after first session for 1-1 study.
- For group sessions, refunds are typically not available after the first session has been delivered due to group discount pricing.
- In the event that PL Learning fails to fulfill our teaching obligations (e.g. teacher unavailable for term, cancellation of all remaining courses, health situation, etc.), PL Learning will refund the remaining balance of term to students for any unprovided services if students wish not to transfer to another instructor.

Simply enter your name and email in the appropriate fields above or below. You will be added to our potential candidates' directory and contacted directly by a member of our support staff. They will instruct you of the intake process and can answer your questions in Korean or in English. After completing a short intake questionnaire, your placement and learning approach within PL Learning can be determined.
Can I sign up with a friend or family member?
Yes, you can pick your classmates. If you don't know anyone, we will design a class for you with classmates at your level.
Do your teachers have experience teaching Korean students?
Yes, our teachers have experience teaching in private academies as well as years of experience living in Korea.
